Hello! I’m Hawa, and I live in LA, pursuing interaction design at Santa Monica College. As a design student, I’ve worked on projects that largely addressed communities and organizations. My interest in design comes from my need to be involved in impactful change in our society. I believe there are many ways design creates great change in society, and I hope to work with larger communities to create innovative and practical solutions for everyone to enjoy.
As a UX designer, I enjoy going out into the field and recording real-time insights from the environment and people. I pursue work that is more human-centered so I can reach a diverse audience that will benefit from innovative change. I enjoy working with a collaborative team of diverse individuals and perspectives.
That way, we strive to create innovative solutions for everyone. My hope is to become a master of my craft in user research, design, and writing because, through these outlets, I am able to express insights, creativity, and storytelling throughout my projects.
